Charters consisting of more than one chartermaster or one group. Open Party Charters are listed here.

Open party charters are available by sign up form only. Questions can be answered by phone, text, or email, but you can only sign up with the form. If you need assistance with that, let us know.

No credit card required to sign up. Our automated system will attempt to match you with other people trying to book the same trip as you. Once a match occurs we will contact you and let you know that the charter is full, and at that time every one pays. Confirmation is sent. Please be aware that no refunds are given after you have paid. If other people do not show up, the charter still runs, because of this policy.

Usually trips like this are reserved only for higher paying private party customers. Here is how it works, fill out our very short questionnaire, if there is an instant match (you are the last party needed to fill a charter) then your all set. If not, we will update you in real time of your match status. We will go to work and find you other like minded people to join you and split the cost. Our per person ticket pricing is very affordable, and our adventures are safe, kid-friendly. Charters consisting of one group with one "chartermaster" who represents that group as a whole to the charterer.

Private party events can be scheduled over the phone, by text, or through our online booking system. We have agents standing by to assist you. We can answer any questions that you have, provide further photos, or even give you a tour of a vessel. Once you have decided to proceed we require a 33% deposit, with the remaining balance due 7 days prior to departure. If the departure date is within 7 days, the full balance is due upon booking.

All catering, DJ's, and other third party service providers are independently owned and operated and will be offered to you by the representative of the vessel that you choose. Each vessel has different third party providers of choice. Our company reserves the vessel solely, after which the vessel will provide third party services to you.

You can cancel up to 7 days prior to departure for a full refund. If you cancel within 7 days of departure, you forfeit your 33% deposit. If you cancel with 48 hours or no show, you are responsible for the full price of the charter.

REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICES

PRIVATE PARTY CHARTER REFUND POLICY

We offer a "7 DAY" refund policy. What this means is that you can cancel or reschedule your charter up to 7 DAYS before the departure time with no penalty or fee, and get a full refund no questions asked.

If you cancel or reschedule your charter within 7 DAYS of the departure time, you will lose your 10% deposit. If you cancel within 24 hours of departure, you will lose 33% OF THE TOTAL VALUE OF THE CHARTER. If you reschedule your charter to an available day in the future at any time, there is no penalty or fee.

In order to keep our prices low, this policy is in place. When we confirm your day and time we lock it, and turn away customers in order to insure your reservation.  

OPEN PARTY CHARTERS REFUND POLICY

If you join other people in splitting a charters cost, this is open party. There are no refunds for open party. This only applies to open party.

If you have purchased your ticket from a third party, such as Groupon, AirBnB, TripAdvisor, etc, you will need to deal directly with that company in order to receive a refund.

CUSTOMERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL DAMAGES DONE TO VESSEL BY CUSTOMER.

PRIVACY POLICY

We do not give away or sell your data. Any use of your data will be for the sole purposes of our company to contact you regarding fishing, and for no other reason. If you wish us to delete your data after your charter has run, please contact us.

You may withdraw your consent to receive communications from us electronically by contacting us. You agree that you shall indemnify and defend San Diego Tuna Fishing and all third parties (all vessels we represent are independently owned) whom San Diego Tuna Fishing has booked you, and their directors, officers, and employees, against all claims, liability, damages, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees and expenses arising out of or related to (i) your breach of these Terms of Use or (ii) any suit, claim, or demand arising from or relating to any text, photograph, image, graphic or other material you incorporated into Products that was not part of the standard Site Content.

THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. GOVERNING LAW

San Diego Tuna Fishing is located in San Diego, California and all transactions take place on Fareharbor, an online booking system. Issues related to the protection, infringement, or misuse of copyrighted materials shall be governed by the copyright laws of the United States of America. Any legal action or proceeding relating to or arising from your access to or use of this Site shall be instituted in San Diego, California. You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of Los Angeles courts and agree that venue in these courts is proper in any such legal action or proceeding.
